With over 25 years experience in HR, Elsie Akinsanya is a fully qualified executive coach focused on transformational, performance and impactful leadership. Over the past decade, her focus has been coaching those transitioning into leadership positions to connect with their teams and c-suite courageously and authentically.
Most recently, Elsie was the People Director of the Corporate and Institutional bank as well as the Business and Commercial divisions of Lloyds Banking Group. Prior to that, she was Managing Director and Global Head of HR for an institutional client business within Citibank. A member of the Executive Committee, she was a trusted advisor to the CEOs and leadership of the business.
Elsie's last role in Citibank was as the HR Head for Emerging Markets, responsible for 29 countries across Africa and the Middle East. Prior to Citibank, Elsie worked for Fidelity International and Quintiles, among other firms. Those who have benefitted from Elsie's coaching expertise range from medical professionals, general counsels, CFOs, board and executive directors.
Elsie has a Masters degree in Human Resources Management, is a Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development (UK) and a certified coach. Elsie is now focussed on providing executive coaching services for professionals as they progress in their career journey, specifically as they transition to senior executive and Board roles.
